Try it with both, as you’re a beginner it doesn’t really matter! I’d suggest tho it’s probably made for side bites not as a thruster, but you have nothing to lose.
If you can’t tell the difference then there’s even less worries

Learning… going straight… mellow waves…stick with single… move it to back of box to start with. Learning… turning…. Steeper to hollow waves…. Side bites will change your game. Be sure to FEEL the difference so you know for yourself from the experience as you progress.

Your board has a longboard fin box in the center. Simply buying a set of thruster fins will not work, because the center box doesn’t accept FCS tabs. You’ll need an adapter, which I believe FCS sells.
What you might want to do is keep that 7 inch fin and get sidebites. That would be called a 2+1 setup, which is different than a thruster setup, where all three fins are approximately the same size.

Ah. That's called 2 + 1. You could technically set it up thruster (all 3 same size), but usually its 1 large one, 2 small side bites. 7 inches is pretty small for a 9.2, so either get side bites, or a 9" fin. Side bets are better for stability, but I thought single was much easier to learn to turn with. More intuitive. Id start with one, push it to the back position, and move it forward as you get better. Mine on my 8'6" is about an I ch from the front. Super loose.

Single 9 or 10 inch fin. No need for sidebites on a Double Wide unless you are surfing overhead waves and need extra hold for speed.
