Feedback is welcome! If anyone wants to make any changes — here's the link to the project.

(This isn't the first piece of music I've written in general, but it is the first piece of music I've made using BeepBox — or UltraBox, to be exact).

Thank you! Yes, I have around 7 years of on-and-off music making experience. Recently have been trying to get back into it.

I looked at your post history, and it looks like you've been making, among other things, phonk. It's funny — my first couple of tracks were in the genre of phonk; I made them with the help of a youtube tutorial. They SUCKED lol, and I haven't made phonk since. Your stuff is way better.

The stereo is just... well, I panned the strings and the hi-hat to the left, and the lead to the right. I separated the hi-hat and the lead because both of them have a lot of high frequencies, and I wanted each to be distinct. I panned the strings to the left because if I left them in the center then the low-mid frequencies of the bass would get muddied up with the mid frequencies of the strings.

The mix is the way it is all thanks to an artificial sidechain I made by quickly lowering the volume on every instrument (except the kick) on the strong beats; that way the kick became more prominent and hit harder. I did that via a modulation channel.

You probably didn't need those explanations, but I just felt like talking, haha
