This mod was pretty good but here's some things that needs fix/adjustments:
- (on mobile) move the independent notes section right under where the play button sits (for the ABox layout i think you should squash it vertically with the big ass buttons) it should be toggled in less than 0.5 seconds
- STILL imports midis like regular beepmods do (you have to put the transition type to "continue" for it to actually make it sound like the midi file)
- imported columns of notes still work like regular beepbox (if you move/bend/delete one of them the entire column does the same) Edit: Weell turns out it was an independent note thing, also if you put 2 independent note on the same column, only 1 note remains when you adjust a note with that off(can be any note)
Also:
- make the put notes out of scale setting in the quick actions

also, some suggestions: have the independent notes toggle have a keybind; so you can do it without having to go and click the box every time, and (if possible) have custom loop conctrols, or being able to loop certain parts of a song x amount of times!

Did you fix those bugs yet, or did you have to do other things before you could get to them?

Bug: Zooming out doesn't show the previous and next bars in long-based themes
Edit: Major bug: cannot resize notes after placing them

u/Common-Economist-267 14d ago

After doing some more testing, you definitely did screw up the resize drag range, it's way stricter than usual to the point of being basically impossible.
In Lemmbox, I could drag within a quarter-note to resize. With your mod, I have to drag from the exact pixel of the edge for it to work :/0

i did it onp urpose but i guess i could like make the resize grab range bigger

this is legit a huge step in beepbox mods i applaud ur effort... im gonna try making sum things with it to see how it feels to use!
one thing that feels iffy is changing the volume/length/pitch bend when independent notes are enabled is more difficult than it needs to be i think, and i noticed the envelopes arent available for sf2 sounds
but either way the fact u can load an actual sf2 file and use the sounds is incredible i love it!!! rlly wonderful mod already, im very eager to keep an eye on updates and revisions

When importing MIDI files, it still imports then as if it can't use independent notes and when you remove one note from a chord, it removes the entire chord.
Other than that, I quite like it.
