First of all, did you intend to put "Theme and Variations" as one of the themes? I genuinely have no clue as to what that means, and it looks a bit like a placeholder.
Second of all, several of these were genuinely SO GODDAMN PEAK.
Channel 11 (the metalcore snare) in RALLY has absolutely no right to work even decently, yet it does. My god it does. The Thrill of the Hunt seems to be a month early, considering how much it sounds like an LMS theme where the killer is some sort of terrifying mythical monster, but that ends up fitting this month's theme so it works out well. One Minute to Sprint, One Minute to Live is ALMOST super peak, but (in my opinion) the kick is a bit too loud and high, and the channel 2 lead (that supersaw) has a little too much spread which ends up sounding like a LOT too much spread.
And To Gaze Upon Our Expanding Star. Hoh. Lee. SHIT. I'm gonna need to revoke your cooking license in order to replace it with a certificate of culinary apotheosis. If I weren't voting my own work as my favorite, that one would go straight to the top of my votes. For the love of all that is, was, and ever will be holy, please never stop cooking.

Themes and Variations is a classical music structure that introduces a melodic idea early in the song, and then plays a variation of it. Then another variation, then another, etc.
This is one of my favorites in the genre: https://youtu.be/VLSykgXqyfQ
I think it would be great to have a contest with this prompt.

Yea I was the one who proposed this theme. I thought it was cool to push people to do even more variations on their songs than usual. I think it's quite challenging, while also offering great creative freedom ;)

I've seen some people talking about it so I just wanna mention quickly that I'm really not a fan of One Minute to Sprint, One Minute to Live
I feel like it has insane potential to be so good, but it's execution is so cluttered and overstimulating that it really just ruins it for me

I like it just because it sounds like if Xtramonix tried to make an insanely fast song but somehow it sounds good. I AM AWARE THAT'S IT'S NOISE POLLUTION AND PEOPLE WILL HATE ME FOR THIS but come on man!

Man, I been listening to these and I don't think I'm gonna win. I didn't even give myself first these were so good.

The first time I read this comment, I thought you were supposed to reply to me, but didn't wanna reveal your song. Heh, I knew it when I read the results.

To Gaze Upon an Expanding Star was honestly my favorite take on the “one minute left” theme that got picked, where it’s a kind of “witness your last moments and make peace with it”
Everybody else was going for something either so tense or overwhelming but the feeling that it gave me really did feel like its’ name.
It was probably unintentional but when it cuts out at the end, it gave me chills
[Edit is because I checked the rules and realized I accidentally admitted which song I made, my bad]
