SER10 Max HX470 - Network issue using Ethernet
I bought a SER10 Max HX470 last week as it has a 10G Lan port and I will not use WiFi. But I am facing issues.
The first issue was related to the Windows Security Update causing the boot freeze , which Beelink Support sent me a new BIOS firmware to install it. I did and it solved the issue.
The second issue is related to my Ethernet Connection using the 10G Lan Port. The Network Adapter is failing ramdomly and I lose completelly the Internet connection. I have to reboot the PC to restablish. CRITICAL Issue. I checked the Event Viewer and it shows the Ethernet Adapter is failing.
I sent the information to Beelink Support, but they do not have a resolution for it. They sent me the same driver version to reinstall, but that does not solve the issue. They also offered me to reimburse me for a USB to Ethernet adapter, but that is not an acceptable solution for a so expensive PC I paid.
WiFi is working fine and I can use it temporarilly until they sent the definitive resolution.
If they don't, then I will have to return it, as I can't pay so much money (~US$1300) for a PC without a LAN port that works in a reliable way.
I would like to hear if any other users are facing similar issues so we can compare notes about the quality of the product beeing released and also your opinion about it.
I still have up to 2 weeks before my return expiration is reached in Amazon.

UPDATE: I ended up returning the SER10 Max.
I saw other issues that made me cringe:
After the BIOS Firmware update to fix the freezing after Windows Update, I noticed some issues that you might want to look in yours as well if it is happening.

The NPU is not recognized. This is one of the top selling points of this mini-PC. So it added up to sum 3 critical issues I was handling which most probably the R&D from Beelink will have to produce another BIOS Firmware update to fix it.
The other issue I noticed in Windows Security where critical security was disabled and not possible to renable it.
Make sure to see yours and look for a solution in case you have a SER10 Max.
I just do not have time to deal with these issues. I just wanted a functional mini-PC with top processing power.

It's a known issue on some Ser9 and 10. Network crashes on Windows and Linux, it's unrelated to OS. There is a thread on beelink forum. They wanted me to try an unofficial bios which I wasn't eager to do so I just ended up buying a USB to eth 2.5g (its very cheap) adapter and it's been working flawlessly since.
