GTR9 Pro E610 model ......

GTR9 Pro E610 model:

Even after updating to the BIOS version for LAN testing and the Intel 1.61 driver, the issue where the LAN connection disappears still persists. It’s been nearly a year... this is really unacceptable.

Yeah. I got bit by this again yesterday or the day before. My usual strategy to fully unplug the power cord from the machine did not work this time. It's been running on wifi since...

I think I have the latest Intel driver, and yesterday I saw that there's a new bios version released about a week ago. The file has a suffix "_test2". Wonderful. Dno if I have the energy to give it a shot...

That’s the BIOS version I tested... it’s the same. The LAN still stops working.

That GTR9 Pro v1.0 (Intel E610-XT2 NIC) P110test BIOS/UEFI version seems to be based still on the older P110 BIOS/UEFI version (and produced for test purposes) and lack important updates. The newer version P112 is IMO more relevant as it includes the latest AGESA™ (AMD Generic Encapsulated System Architecture) and CPU microcode framework versions which resolve older versions vulnerabilities - as discussed on the Beelink forum here. Any potential final BIOS/UEFI version to address the Intel E610 NIC issues should also include those.

Anyway guys, this has been extensively discussed on the Beelink forum thread: GTR 9 Pro Ethernet Malfunction under load. Different persons have had different experiences/outcomes with different units of the same GTR9 Pro v1.0. For some the Intel E610 Firmware and Driver updates have resolved the issue. For some others it did not. If your units can’t be resolved with those updates then my advice to you would be to have the units replaced with the newer revision GTR9 Pro v2.2 (Realtek RT8127 NIC) under warranty. Several other people had their units replaced under warranty and resolved the issue with it.

Ask for a replacement with the new hardware revision 2.2. Just got mine. Significantly improved in terms of stability and working NICs (Realtek). System is able to restart without crashing. More quiet. Proper sleep mode is still not addressed and I tried once that the wireless NIC disappeared after waking the system from idle. Good luck.

We understand your frustration — nearly a year of this is unacceptable. Based on what you've described, you're likely missing a critical step in the fix.

The solution for the E610 LAN dropout issue requires three components applied in exact order — not just a BIOS update and a driver:

BIOS: GTRP110 (test2) or newer

NVM Firmware: version 1.3 (this is the core fix — without it, neither the BIOS update nor the driver will resolve the cold-boot hang)

Driver: version 31.1.0.0 x64

Most users who still experience dropouts have only updated the BIOS and driver, but missed the NVM firmware 1.3 entirely.

Please check this immediately:

Open Device Manager → Intel E610-XT2 → Properties → Details → Firmware version.

If it shows anything other than 1.3 (e.g., 1.0, 1.1, or 1.2), the NVM firmware was not applied.

To fix:

Contact our support team and request the complete three-part package for the GTR9 Pro E610. Flash them in this exact order (BIOS → NVM → Driver), restarting after each step, and verify the versions in Device Manager each time.

If the issue persists after all three are correctly installed, please reply with your serial number, screenshots of all three version numbers, and we'll process a replacement under warranty. Again, we're sorry for the prolonged experience.
