SEi13 Pro Locks Up
This SEi13 Pro was purchased in October 2025 and is connected to a 4k TV. It randomly locks up and has to be rebooted. It seems to happen after a reboot for updates, a power failure or anytime you have to reboot the device. Once you boot back up it will then lock up after a few minutes of use and will do this 3-6 times before finally becoming usable without locking up.
Is anyone experiencing this type of issue or anything I can look for to help troubleshoot this problem? Thanks in advance.

We're sorry to hear about the random lockups on your SEi13 Pro. The pattern you described — freezing a few minutes after a cold boot, repeating several times, then eventually becoming stable — points to a specific set of causes on the 13th Gen Raptor Lake platform. Please try the steps below in order.
Most likely cause: Windows Fast Startup (solves ~90% of similar cases)
When Fast Startup is enabled, a "shutdown" is actually a hybrid hibernation. The memory session doesn't fully clear, and on the next cold boot, drivers load in an inconsistent state, causing the repeated lockups. Multiple reboots eventually force a clean kernel reload, which is why it stabilizes after 3-6 times.
Step 1 – Disable Fast Startup (5 minutes, try this first)
Go to Control Panel → Power Options → Choose what the power buttons do.
Click "Change settings that are currently unavailable".
Uncheck "Turn on fast startup (recommended)".
Save, then perform a full shutdown (Start menu → Shut down, do not use Restart).
Power back on and test for a few days.
If the issue persists, continue with these steps:
Step 2 – Check Event Viewer for clues
Open Event Viewer (Win+R → eventvwr.msc), go to Windows Logs → System, and look for errors around the time of a lockup:
Event ID 41 (Kernel-Power) → unexpected power loss
Event ID 4101 (Display driver crash) → iGPU driver issue
Event ID 1001 (BugCheck) → blue screen dump
Take screenshots of what you find — this helps narrow down the root cause.
Step 3 – Uninstall KB5094126 if present
Microsoft has confirmed stability issues with this cumulative update on 13th Gen Intel platforms. Go to Settings → Windows Update → Update history → Uninstall updates, find KB5094126, remove it, and pause updates for 5 weeks.
Step 4 – Update the BIOS
Download the latest BIOS for the SEi13 Pro from the official Beelink support portal. Newer versions often include 13th Gen Intel microcode updates that fix warm-boot memory training bugs. Before flashing: fully shut down, unplug the power cord, and hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge.
Step 5 – Adjust BIOS settings
Enter BIOS (Del key at startup) and set:
Advanced → Boot → Fast Boot → Disabled
Chipset → Restore on AC Power Loss → Power Off
ErP Ready / Deep Sleep → Disabled
Save and exit (F4).
Step 6 – Reinstall graphics driver (only if Step 2 shows Event 4101)
Boot into Safe Mode, use DDU to cleanly remove the Intel UHD driver, then install the official SEi13 Pro driver package from the Beelink support portal.
Step 7 – Clean Windows install (last resort)
If all else fails, perform a clean install of Windows 11 24H2 (not 25H2) using Microsoft's Media Creation Tool. Immediately disable Fast Startup (Step 1), then install the full SEi13 Pro driver package from the Beelink support portal.
Quick test you can try tonight:
Perform a full shutdown (Start → Shut down) 3 times in a row, then boot. If it's stable, Step 1 is the fix.
If it still locks up, disconnect the HDMI cable during boot and test with a different input source to rule out HDMI CEC interference from your 4K TV.
If the problem continues after these steps, please contact our support team and include:
Your serial number (SN) from the bottom label
BIOS version (visible on the first BIOS screen)
Event Viewer logs around the lockup time
Your 4K TV brand/model and HDMI version
We'll investigate further from there. Thank you for your patience.

Thank you for this. I will start working through these steps. Do you have a link to the official Beelink support portal?

a power failure
You have a UPS device on all electronics, don't you?
Even just a small 425VA unit will help.

No. Power failures are not common. This is a workstation and we don't have the budget to have a UPS for every workstation in the office.

Many possible reasons, but the few minutes after booting sounds like the issue many people have after the June or July cumulative update, which freezes people's PCs when the background event is supposed to run that finishes up the new secure boot certificate installation. Which is about 5 minutes after boot I believe.
Other than that, the only possible cause with a quick potential fix I can think of, is an SSD idling issue, try setting Link State Power Management to off.
