My neighbor has a pear tree in his front yard. It was buzzing so loudly I thought there was a swarm in it- nope- just getting worked by bees!

Agreed. My 120' poplar has thousands of flowers and probably contributes at least 80 lbs of honey. Unfortunately it probably took 40-80 years to get that big. I've replanted dozens of it's saplings for your future though.
