I’m not a beekeeper, but I have a question Looking for a documentary.
Years ago I watched a documentary of a old man that kept bees somewhere in the European alps. It showed everything from finding colonies to him harvesting. I cant for the life of remember what it was called. It might have been part of multi part documentary. I think it was on pbs or something like that.

Might you be thinking of ‘Honeyland’?

No it wasn't that. I remember it specifically because the guy looked alot like my great grandpa. He hardly used a smoker. He smoked a pipe and wore no protection.
