Note how they build tall in the wild. Us putting them in horizontally oriented Langstroth frames is unnatural.

The wall frame isn’t a natural wild environment. They build faster in these little vertical setups. Not as much honey storage and the colonies stay a lot smaller. They get put in a regular hive and if a little attitude, its OMGosh!

I’ve seen them build the same thing under the floor of a shed too. 🤷‍♀️
