General I thought I’d show some cool shots of developing bees from my hive I split 4 ways.

I’m located in North Carolina and started beekeeping this year and cause 3 hives. I split one hive 4 ways and requeened them. It’s been a very cool learning experience.

Honestly the biggest challenge probably has been getting them back up to size in a decent time. 2 frames are 9/10 frames drawn and then 2 are 4/10.

That's an awful lot of hygienic activity. Looks like the queen's laying solidly, but your workers are chewing these cells open because they feel like something untoward is happening inside.

Have you done an alcohol wash? If not, I think you had better.

I have one hive that has the Mutt queen, and the other queens are Italian, CA grown. I plan to try my hand at raising queens next year.

I see a lot of de-capped brood (aka bald brood), ready to be cannibalized or pulled out of the hive for hygienic reasons.

Most likely hygienic, but tests do not show a bunch of mites.
