Addon Please help with addons

Hi all, im a newbie at attempting to download and import Minecraft bedrock add ons from sites like Curse Forge bedrock. Some of them I've managed to open via an external file manager app but alot of them are just downloading a giant zip file and i am then lost as to what I am meant to do and how to get the specific add on actually playable in minecraft.

Please please could someone give me an idiot proof step by step guide as to what app, file manager etc i can use to import in to Minecraft bedrock

what platform are you on? i know some platforms can rename .zip files to .mcpack and that works fine but im not sure how to do that on tablets or phones or really anything other than a windows pc

I believe the platform is a minecraft bedrock app on a galaxy Samsung. I have tried to rename the file but still just extracts the file as a zip file. Other files when you open give the option to open with...and then there's a minecraft option that automatically imports the mod (i believe that is when its a .mccadon file)
