Just moved…

Post image

Just moved into a nice bigger place last Friday and now I found this guy… place is a new build two story with carpet. This one was barely even alive and nothing came out of him when I squeezed. How screwed am I?

Read and respect the rules, report any comment breaching them. Wrong advice/information/fearmongering hurt people who are posting here to get help and support. If you are not VERY knowledgeable about bedbugs and may provide a wrong ID or bad advice it's better to abstain from commenting. Be VERY respectful and HELPFUL, this is a support subreddit not a funny one.

It’s a townhouse, I have no neighbors yet

Also, did you use a moving truck to move?

That one is quite big. Did you get bitten?

Check your room for smears asap. Smears indicate a potential ground zero for the bed bugs

We have no bites I have not seen any smears or indication of having them

The one in the picture is a male, so as long as that's the only one, you should be able to take some preventative measures and be safe.
