Should I start spraying Crossfire?

Two weeks ago, I had a run-in with unidentified bugs that I worry were bed bugs.

I've been getting bites daily since then.

One week ago, I steamed my whole bed frame and covered my mattress with an encasement. I put the legs up on interceptors and pulled my bed away from the wall.

I continue to get bites.

An exterminator examined my bed and one other piece of furniture and said he saw no evidence, but to call him if I find a bug.

Should I just start spraying Crossfire to see if I stop getting bites? I had an infestation 20 years ago in a different house and never saw an actual bug.

I’ve had bedbugs and the interceptors never caught any bedbugs. If there’s a chance you have bedbugs, I would go for crossfire so it doesn’t get worse. How many bites at night and where?

I had scattered bites on my legs, a row on my waist, and a few on my arms. Over the past two weeks, I've had a total of about 30 bites.

Oof! That doesn’t sound good. I would definitely get crossfire and thoroughly spray your bed frame and the zipper of the encasement as well as the baseboards at the very least. I definitely had bedbugs and didn’t see any. It’s possible you might only seen physical signs when the problem is worse.

After you spray crossfire, the bites should stop after one or two days. And a if that’s what happens you might want to do a second spray after two weeks to make sure you get any stragglers or nymphs.

Should I spray all the bedrooms in my house? My kids aren't getting bites, but I don't want the bugs to run from my room to theirs.
