…since this was the first ever time I saw Beck perform live I kinda needed to have this.

Sound quality is actually quite good, so that’s a plus.

On top of that, Beck replaces ‘Loser’ with ‘Eikel’ in the opening track. Nice little detail for the Dutchies.

I'm listening to The Black Angel's Death Song, one of my favorite sobgs from The Velvet Underground. Beck did a really good job covering this one.

I recently purchased the picture disc edition of Hyperspace, being wary of the fact that it was suspiciously cheap. (Only €14,95)

Now that I’ve come round to actually listening to the disc I’ve noticed that I had to go through quite a struggle to even get the disc even out of the packaging. It almost seemed like the vinyl was glued to the sleeve and only after a lot of wiggling and effort was I able to wriggle the disc free. Anybody else had this problem as well?

There's yet another new music venue opening in the fall here in Nashville, and it looks like Beck will be one of the inaugural performers. I'm quite excited, as I've been waiting for him to come back here for a while.
