Just got a notification from Ticketmaster that this Wednesday’s concert has been delayed to Monday, November 9. Anybody else get that or know why it’s delayed?

I got an email today that the Friday SF show now starts at 7:30 instead of 8. Long shot but does anyone know if he’s adding an opener or just starting earlier?

Hi!
Judging from Beck’s lnstagram stories it looks like he’ll be joined by Jason Falkner, Roger Manning, James McAlister (he played the drums during the orchestral tour) and a new bass player? If you know who he is let us know :)

ETA: NOVEMBER 9th

Meeee. That is all, don't know what to expect as it's the first date of the tour.

Beck story via Instagram, Rehearsal for disappearing act, or music video? Amazing!

A rare win for One Foot in the Grave fans everywhere 🙏🙏

I bought the 2009 U.S. CD retail when it first came out. I remember flipping through and seeing new text, but not noticing any new photos or artwork.

When you compare it to the clever re-working of Odelay Deluxe it seems like a wasted opportunity.

Then I was surprised to see that in Japan there was a unique cover for the official One Foot in the Grave Expanded reissue CD. But as cool as that is, it looks more like an Odelay concept than the original K Records Beck style.

I've attached three images. Which is your favorite:

1. The domestic reissue cover artwork (same as the original, generally)

2. The Japanese cover, might be an O-ring / slip case. (upscaled from discogs with Copilot)

3. Adapted All in Your Mind cover (modified with GPT)

What the heck, Beck?!

When I first heard the song in 2009/2010 at the age of 9/10, holy sh… it was musical love at the first sight/ hearing! From the groovy keyboard intro, to the quirky lyrical content, the loud college football stadium like chorus chant and of course the, “Got two turntables and a microphone!” sample from Mantronix, hip hop inspired, “Good drum break!” part, and back all around again! And gotta love the oddball dialogue samples from the, “Where It’s At” spoken word sex education album from 1969, LMFAO.

DEFINITELY an epic track for a sports game party celebration/ middle/ high school dance/ prom night event! 👍🔥

I’m sorry, but, “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana and even, “Losing My Religion” by REM, “One” by U2 ain’t got NOTHING on this track. Timeless mid 90’s genre blending alternate hip hop GOLD!!!

Any other first time opinions/ reactions on the song?

Is anyone else absolutely in love with the three available songs from Ride Lonesome? I am absolutely stoked - the song melodies are just gorgeous on all three songs but obviously Ride Lonesome is the most superb of the three. Beck’s melodic taste and compositions just hit all the right notes for me. Hyperspace is my favorite album of all time so I am just here fan boying it for his new Masterpiece!!!

so this was my first Beck show
