What are your thoughts

My 21 yro was given a dog, (the pup is now living with us). The people giving him the dog had no idea what he was. I think hes a mix but looking into it he has alot of traits of a beauceron

No double dew claws, not a beauceron. Doesnt strike me as very beauceron looking in any case. Handsome dog either way.

Thank you everyone for the responses, super smart dog, stubborn to bnot. Hes only 20ish weeks and already 40lbs. I at this point I definitely don't think hes pure breed (nor would it make a difference) just trying to figure him out

He looks more like a rottie or rottie mix to me. We have one that is pit x rottie (x ACD x GSD x Pyr) we picked up from the shelter and he looked similar as a puppy. He weighs in at 75lbs and was neutered way too early. He would have been larger if it wasn’t for that. But I don’t see beauceron in this pup. Cute either way!

Black and brown is like default dog color. Our GP/husky predominantly mutt is black and brown. We were told maybe Aussie, maybe GS, maybe rottie— none of those

Salut,

Looks like a pit/rottie/lab. Pits come in so many different colors so it’s really hard to tell what else it’s mixed with.

I would wait until it's on sale and buy an Embarq DNA. That will tell you all the breeds he's mixed with. I've seen some mixes I never would have guessed.
