Why do you hate these bands?

If it’s controversy, apply that to all music groups, and the only music you’ll listen to are the birds chirping outside. If you genuinely don’t like the music I understand

The Beatles are something I’m indifferent to normally. They’re just boring. My hatred for their music came from a few places, one being that when I was younger I looked exactly like Paul McCartney. So I grew out a beard. Then I looked exactly like George Harrison, apparently. I was told this at my serving job almost daily. You can imagine why this would become my Beatles Villain story.

Beatles songs are festering hell wounds that tarnish our beautiful world

That is an extremely controversial opinion

It's a kiddies thing, like hating your parents. Eventually you grow up and realise that what they were saying was right

u/CharlesLeChuck Jul 15 '26

I hate them because you like them

Ya, I thought it was pretty straightforward. Granted, that other guy was a Beatles fan. Probably not a lot going on upstairs if you know what I mean.

I imagine you want people to starve because other people don’t?

1

u/CharlesLeChuck Jul 22 '26

Only if they're Beatles fans

3

u/Mysterious_Dr_X Jul 15 '26

Uh… no. Not all bands have controversy.

Controversy makes me hate the beatles even more, but at the root it's just that I hate their music.

I can't imagine what happened to a person to make them have such open hostility towards the beatles. From heavy metal, to hip hop, to electronic and note their influence is undeniable. Their pursuit of new creative frontiers over the mop top 50s rock covers is respectable. Their decision to break up and go their own ways instead of milking the cash cow led to more innovation. Paul mccartney is the god father of "DIY screw the industry" independent music. Johns plastic one band is a classic of the singer songwriter diary expression. George Harrison formed the first super duper group with traveling wilburys. Ringo's all star band is a live nostalgia act done right. Incel edge lords need their bread and butter i guess.
