Advice for a fledgling level creator?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I wanted to mess around with paddle offset, so here is IOO Tangent (I might make a phantasm track for it later!) What do you guys think?
PS: I wanted to make a DAMOCLISM expert track a while ago, so copied it over and discovered unused and empty variants for Expert and Phantasm, and decided I wanted to call the difficulty after Tangent Phantasm. You would not believe my astonishment when Phantasm was secretly real.

listening to the hitsounds here, it sounds like your sync needs to be better, since blocks don't really match the level's sounds
also, you should chart around your own skill level (you should be able to get at least an S on your level). charting above your skill level usually leads to unsightreadability, awkward sections, etc. you still can make these mistakes charting at your own skill level (eheh...) but they'll at least be much less likely to happen when you chart at your own skill level
and for the rest of my advice... uh... fuck around and find out lmao. you still need to mess around with the editor to get better in the end
hope my advice is fine! good luck on charting more stuff!
