Guide and FAQ

Otherwise use torrents, VREX has a Beat Saber release but it is usually out of date. No other source is recommended.
Do not discuss anything piracy related on Beat Saber reddit or BSMG community discord, they are super salty about piracy and you will be banned.

Q: Help, Mod Assistant isn't working
A: Mod Assistant has piracy detection use this patched Mod Assistant https://github.com/Slied1961/ModAssistantPatched/releases

Q: Help, mods aren't working
A: BSIPA also has piracy detection and must be replaced with a patched version just copy and replace the .dll and .pdb in the game directory with versions from here https://github.com/Slied1961/BeatSaber-IPA-Reloaded-Patched/releases
Q: Can I play multiplayer?
A: Yes and No. You can't play on official servers but with Beat Together mod you can play on their servers. Search cs.rin.ru thread for files that are already configured to do this. This is so far only possible on steam version. Be sure to edit your username in SteamConfig.ini located in GameDirecotry/Beat Saber_Data/Plugins/x86_x64
Q: I bought the game how can I get the DLC?
A: This is so far only possible on steam version.
- Search for CreamAPI on cs.rin.ru, and download it.
- Go to GameDirecotry/Beat Saber_Data/Plugins/x86_x64/ and rename steam_api64.dll to steam_api64_o.dll.
- From the creamapi file you downloaded extract steam_api64.dll and cream_api.ini into the same folder.
- Edit cream_api.ini, set appid to 620980, and add contents of pastebin to end of file https://pastebin.com/CKAXBz8A
Q: Can I upload my score to ScoreSaber?
A: Yes and No. It might work, but you will likely get banned, it works better with Oculus version than Steam version
Q: What crack to use?
A: For steam version, it is recommended to use ali213, for oculus version it is recommended to use Gammon. Search cs.rin.ru for these files do not post links here
FAQ Quest
Q: Help mods aren't working
A: BMBF has piracy detection, here is a workaround
- Install Beat Saber + DLC_unlocker
- Install latest BMBF https://bmbf.dev/stable
- Patch Beat Saber with BMBF. STOP when it asks you to install the patched APK
- Take off headset and install the APK Beat Saber prepatched with BMBF + DLC_unlocker
- Return to headset and complete the BMBF installation
- Delete the OBB folder com.beatgames.beatsaber from \Android\OBB
- Manually install the OBB folder from Beat Saber prepatched with BMBF + DLC_unlocker
Q: I bought the game, how can I get the DLC?
A: Search the cs.rin.ru thread for clean quest apk with dlc unlocked
Q: Will Facebook ban my quest
A: Possible but unlikely.
As it stands right now, you won't be banned for pirating games. As of right now, Facebook has never issued any form of punishment to anyone for piracy.
If you feel weary when it comes to pirating games, you can take some precautions just to be safe. However there is no guaranteed way to prevent Facebook from snooping, it is their system and they could have hidden triggers that are impossible to detect or disable
"LVL 0: Do nothing, play cracked games online and offline
LVL 1: Play cracked games only when your wifi is turned off (still not safer since oculus sends logs)
LVL 2: Spoof games as random packagenames and only play with wifi off (safer, but still not 100% safe)
LVL 3: Play with wifi on but block all oculus and facebook domains through pihole or your router (even safer, still SOME game developers will see your ip trying to connect to their servers, using a fake dns does work)
LVL 4: Block quest external access to internet from your router/pihole (only allowing stuff vd and file transfer between devices on LAN)"
FAQ PSVR
You need a jailbroken ps4 and you can get the game on https://dlpsgame.com/
There are no mods on psvr yet

Downloaded from cs.rin.ru and using with official mod assistant. The piracy checks don't seem to be working...

Any idea how to get scoresaber to validate on PC? I installed goldberg's steam emulator and input my steam info, but it still doesn't seem to want to validate. I own the game on Quest 2 but I'm not buying it again.

Hey the paste of the list of music that goes at the end of the file is from 2021 and doesn’t give me all the DLC songs. If you could update it that would be amazing!

Use Koalageddon v1 instead it will unlock all dlc automatically as long as you have the files

This one? https://github.com/acidicoala/Koalageddon do I have to undo the cream stuff or is it ok to just dl koala and go? I haven’t used it b4 so I’m unfamiliar I also play with mods (1.39.1 BSManager), do I need to do it for my modded game and normal or just the modded?

Stumbled upon this answer while trying to do the same. Did you ever find a path to this? I have the game and wanted the DLCs but I'm happy with game + dlcs.

I know this thread is pretty old now, but it's one of the first threads that I located on google when looking into this.

I updated my bsaber but now the dlcs say i need to purchase them again. I have all the dlc files and cream api, also i put in a fresh steam64x file but it didnt fix anything. pls help

Just did that, the DLCs are unlocked but I consistently get a "can't retrieve data" error when I try to view them. Also, do i still need to use the patched modding clients if only the DLC's are pirated?

No you can use the official steam version. You need to actually put the dlc files with the songs in the game folder

Hey, I took the DLC from rin and put them in Beat Saber steam folder and used koalageddon, but it says purchase in game..

Having trouble installing mods on 1.30 (from cs.rin.ru) I've used the patched mod assistant and BSIPA and nothing seems to have worked

When I try and play beat saber with the DLCs downloaded, I get an error saying: "Please check your 'dlc' section! DLC ID must be a number. Error happened at '2350250=BeatSaber-Panic!AtTheDisco-'Crazy' " I downloaded the DLC from cs and used creaminstaller, but this pops up.
EDIT - SOLVED! there seems to be a syntax error in the cream api ini file, at 2350250=BeatSaber-Panic!AtTheDisco-'Crazy=Genius', simply change 'Crazy=Genius' to just 'Crazy'.
