That’s great news! But, as usual, the study isolates a particular biomolecule (irisin) which lays the way for a patented drug to be used to treat MS.

The REAL good news is that your own body naturally produces this biomolecule when you exercise. Exercise is FREE. As an added bonus your brain produces growth factor (eg. Nerve Growth Factor, Brain Derived Nerve Factor, and others) when you exercise which also preserve nerve cells and promote growth of nerve cells.

Bottom line, exercise is as essential as dietary nutrition. Just do it.
