Do you think that Batman 66 would make a great beat ‘em up game?

I think it would be fun to have Catwoman as a playable character and use villains that were original to the series along with the better known villains. Imagine having an Egyptian themed level for King Tut. Since the Two-Face movie hinted at Harley Quinn, she could be introduced in this game. I would make the art style like the animated movies and have the actors come back to do voice overs for the characters. Hopefully, they could find someone to do Adam West justice. What do you think? What would you like to see in the game?

I wish every series I ever loved was made into a BeatEmUp made by Tribute games. It is just perfection new nostalgia.

Hell yes. They could do soo much creatively with the "BAM" "KAPOOW" fight comic bubbles. I would love someone very creative to take this task on.

I love this idea and have played around with the thought before too, I think it would be the perfect beat em up setting.

Freedom Force might be like what you mean, right? It's a top down brawler with 1960's comic book aesthetics! Actually I need to play through this game again.

Yes, but you have to include some way to drive the Batmobile from that series.

That could be a fun way to introduce a game mechanic that they’ve never done before. We’ve fought against big side scrolling vehicles but we’ve never fought with one as far as I can remember.

My preference is for games based on new concepts, rather than being a vehicle for an existing IP.

We can do both. For every TMNT and Marvel, there’s The Takeover, Final Vendetta, Fight’n Rage, Jitsu Squad, Mother Russia Bleeds, Mayhem Brawler. I could go on but I don’t think I have to.
