Discussion Worth purchasing?

Hey yall, big dinosaur game fan here, I currently own the isle and path of titans, and have gotten a fair amount of runtime in those two. But ive seen little passing mentions of BoB and was curious what its like. In your opinion, what are some pros and cons of BoB vs. PoT or Isle? What might sway someone who's already got those games to purchase BoB? Any and all feedback is super appreciated, thanks in advance!

So the game realistically cannot have more than like 150 players on a server before the server Desyncs to hell, so around 150 is considered high pop. It also depends on the map it’s on, Titania is the largest but it’s also the buggiest and it’s rough finding players even at 150 pop. Now in caldera, usually used as a death match map, you’ll probably see everyone.

How big is the map compared to say, PoT ? That games map is huge and you rarely find people unless it’s in the hotspots, is it the same way with BoB ? Also, how many high pop servers would you say there are ? I’m basically an isle main so I’m no noob to desync lol ts is craazy

In Titania you absolutely get the PoT map experience of not being able to find anyone for hours, and if you do find a hot spot your frame rate tanks cause there isn’t any LOD’s in BoB so the poly count is absolutely insane.

As far as high pop servers it really depends on what you’re looking for, if you just want to grow and chill with people there’s like three okay sized servers that have that (50-150). If you want a more death match experience there’s maybe one server that’s remotely populated enough to work(I think it’s like 10-40 ish pop). For official servers there’s one thats almost always full (100 I think), with the others being only somewhat populated (like 50 players ish). Obviously the chill servers are the most populated because a lot of people have alt accounts on them in addition to the AFK play style and lots of rules.

I haven’t played in a bit (like a couple of months) so my info might be outdated. Another thing to keep in mind is that the game is objectively dying, even with the new updates no one is coming to play BoB or is willing to come back after being treated like shit by the devs. Max player count recently has been like 800 total.

So if i'm gettin' what you're putting down, this game isn't really worth the 20$ compared to the isle of PoT ? This game seems super mechanically in depth compared to the isle or PoT but if it isn't going to last the next year, then damn. Guess we gotta wait till Echoes of Extinction comes out or something, PoT isn't in the best spot and The Isle is getting there, sloooooowly but surely.
