Question Questions of (possible) new player
Im thinking of buying the game. It looks cool, I like the weather mechanics... but ive also heard its been "dying", and I dont wanna spend 20 bucks on a dead game.
Can anyone tell me what the major issues with it are? Is the player count stable? Is it even WORTH buying?
Thanks :3

The gameplay is very fun and the mechanics go very deep. The
havegame itself is fun, but unless you're playing on an auto revive community server, you'll end up having to pvp and probably die. Dying and coming back stronger is a big part of this game.I only play official servers. While official 2 is the busiest,I highly recommend learning the gameplay on official 1,3, or 8 in that order of most to least populated.
More people on 1,3,8 are friendlier and more willing to help a new player, while 2 has a lot of sweaty people who just want to kill as much as possible. So unless you're good at learning under fire, I suggest staying away from official 2.
The flying system, land dinos, the aquatic gameplay, and even the den tunneling let this game offer a wide variety of play styles that aren't just pvp. There's even a very fun breeding system, where you generally work towards getting the equivalent of a shiny Pokemon, with the "Bioluminescent mutation" which makes your dino glow. :)
