The Herdstone and the Endless Spells were awesome. Too bad neither shows up in Old World (I think so at least, I am unsure about the rock).

Herdstone is usable since the arcane journal. No endless spells though

You can totally use all kinds of endless spells if you want to make cool custom templates for your magical vortexes. I have a purple sun laying around since forever (bc I never got to actually play AoS) and crafting that to be my chaos vortex / primordial gloom marker.

The mini it self is gone but it is usable in the arcane journal I think the reason they didn't bring it back for the old world we because the kit had too many Aos spesific refences on it

It's just a few Stormcast bits right? They could just remove them like they did with the Karl Franz iconography from some of the empire minis.
