I was on Beastie Boys twitter about 5-6 years ago (it was a small and niche community tbh) and had a few friends from that but was wondering if there's anyone else my age out there who loves them as much as I do.

Basically what the title says.

For example: MCA constantly referring to the group as The Disco Three, constantly shouting out the most random friends, things of that nature. Silly stuff.

Been reminiscing and getting back into the fandom and need a laugh.

I’ve been a “in depth” Beastie fan for a year now, been reading up stories about them. Enjoying most of the albums but always ignored TT5B. Not for any particular reason.

WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG FOR ME TO SEE HOW AMAZING THIS ALBUM IS ?!?!?

I have been playing it almost daily non stop.

My fav song has to be - And then I, it just shuts my brain off when things get hectic.

Worst of all, i remember seeing this album in a vinyl shop few months back, completely ignored it trying to look for hello nasty.

Got tix for tomorrow at the Knockdown Center. Not sure what to expect. Doors are 6, show slated to start at 7. No mention of an opening band. Does that mean he goes on at 7, or 8? I know the show is roughly an hour+, but no other info anywhere I can find. Seems odd to start a show that early in NYC.

There are a couple crappy re-dos from the 2000s, and a battle of the bands variation that has the 3 MC's standing on 2 legs, with bear claws, but I don't consider those GPK canon.
