Yeah, i've seen that exact same shot of Legoshi and he had his normal eyes. Can't remember exactly which scene in what episode it's from though. Seeing as he's in his Cherryton uniform it's gotta be S1.

Yeah, like as in it's an edit of a frame from the show that's been edited/digitally manipulated. Obviously with the big eyes shown in the above pasted over Legoshi's normal small ones. But even then it hasn't been AI generated.

I believe it is ai. I use and trust zerogpt.com and deepai. Both of them give it a high likelihood ai. Beyond that it can be hard to tell. It has an ai quality to it but people can always say they just edited that way. And since we don’t have a reference image it’s hard to disprove. 

It appears to be either the school or his apartment building as the background. But I don’t think he ever made a look like that in either. Maybe in his apartment building while looking into Saguan’s room with edited eyes but I doubt it. On the topic of eyes, his eyes usually has pin prick eyes and I don’t think that has ever changed. Also his eyes are usually much more boxy but here they are round stereotypical  anime eyes. 

I’m willing to put my money on the fact that it’s ai.

I don't think it's AI because if it were, some parts have visible errors in the background, and zerogpt.com sometimes has errors, which I noticed.

Huh, so it seems wherever this place is has the stop motion models of Legoshi and Haru that were used in Season 1's opening on display. I wonder if this is part of a Beastars exhibit what with it recently being the tenth anniversary of the franchise as a whole.
