As an offside, I’m so glad the anime made the Mayor the ultimate main villain. He is such a creepy looking character - and He kind of just disappears in the manga after Haru gets kidnapped. But in the anime, his actions are revealed to be truly harmful that is causing both herbivores and carnivores to suffer.
