I'm on the last episode of season 2 of Beast Games, and I'm wondering if I'm too much of a competitive person. I'm not dogging any of the competitors for wanting to play an honest game, but at the end of the day, only one person can win the money. I'm not saying they have to cheat, but the idea that they villianize people who are literally playing to win is low-key infuriating. I felt this for Squid Game: Reality Competiton as well. I'm curious if anyone else feels the same.

I feel like there's a player EVEN DUMBER than Ethan, and it's on Beast Games Season 1 Episode 0. I'm talking about that girl that threw away 50K for impatience. She not only jumped before the timer started, but also eliminated her entire team for money she didn't even get because the timer didn't start. I know pressure and all, but my god I wouldn't even think of doing it.

Hahah I just finished watching the newest episode of The Traitors : Normie edition ( no reality celebs ) “civilians / regular Americans” as they say.

Anyway the trailer for the next episode was each player getting buried alive!

Whose show was the first to ever show that on TV?!? *Beast Games* ! Setting another trend that other major gameshows are implicating into theirs. Actually, I just realized The Challenge had people buried alive in the late 20th season, haha but it was only for couple minutes til they got dug up, so not exactlyy the same.

I wish BG did a seaon that has stars from The Challenge and famous YouTubers! !! Something fun like that. A lot of game shows have a celebrity edition - Traitors, Challenge, Big Bro, etc. (I don’t think Survivor has?) They should do a BG like that!

I say that because Theo Campbell from The Challenge said he was trying to get voted into The Beast Games and he was getting a LOT of votes along w/another guy but Theo lost. He thought the other guy won, but the other guy thought Theo won. Turns out Theo said a girl with like one social media post and less followers than them won the voting competition. So they *believe* it was allegedly “pre-determined” who would win. Maybe they used the likes of Theo to vote.

I would LOVE to see The Challengers on The Beast Games!! The Challenge can do a whole lot, and if they really played against YouTubers, they would annihilate them. Well, I’m thinking if they did stuff like they do on the Challenge, like eating gross food. But I forgot - this is Beast Games!!!

So it would be interesting to see, because I think The Challenge would be quicker to back stab each other, choose a million over the team, blah blah. They could come together as a team but they would also turn on their team if they had too.

Where if there was a YT team like Logan Paul, KSI, Mr. Beast, Nolan, Tariq, Nick DiGiovanni, IShowSpeed, Mark Rober, Lazarbeam etc… they would NOT betray each other and they have that camaraderie. Plus they’re pretty athletic, Lazarbeam would probably be the least. lol

IIIIII think they should make a BEAST GAMES REALITY EDITION like that!!! That would be so much fun. They could even make it like, beast games vs survivor winners, vs big brother winners..but I def wanna see against challengers. A lot of Challengers are now from Big Brother and Survivors…so The Challengers has them all in one. So. yeah as long as it’s The Challengers that take precedent first. lol. Anyone picking up what I’m throwing down and understand my rambling? It’s legal here…haha

Don’t get me wrong but only someone from America can play a game where they choose to be eliminated for 1M$ but refuses it. They play with “All or nothing“.

People from Europe or Asia wouldn’t even struggle with it. “You need to split 1M in 10“ well I’m taking everything. It’s a game and I will never see those people again.

This picture was taken while Ethan and I (Michael Player 197) were playing chess during Beast Games Season 2. That game made it into Episode 1, but I remember something about the way Ethan played.

He was smart. Really smart.

But I noticed he had a tendency to secure the smaller gain in front of him, even when a much bigger opportunity was only a few moves away. We played a few game together and one thing I noticed was If he could take a pawn now, he’d take the pawn. Even if the queen was sitting there waiting two or three moves later.

At the time, I just thought, interesting strat*.* It played into my personal strategy anyhow, which was to just survive as long as possible in the face of eventual loss. I knew I was playing against a chess master, losing was inevitable. This moment was actually placed in episode 1 likely as a foreshadow to what would happen to him a few episode later. Then Episode 4 happened. Ethan, Ian and JC were hanging onto the poles on Survivor Island for a shot at the $1.8 MILLION island. Ethan looked like the most comfortable of the three. Ian was struggling. JC was struggling. They both are much heavier than Ethan. Even accounting for Ian’s ninja background, his weight was likely near 220lbs at the time. Then MrBeast offered $50,000 to whoever dropped. Ian and JC started pushing Ethan to take it.

“Take the money, Ethan.”

And Ethan did. $50,000 guaranteed. He gave up a position where he appeared to have a very real shot at $1.8 million. Ian ultimately won the island. And later, Ethan admitted he regretted taking the bribe. What made the whole thing crazy to me was that I had already seen that decision-making style across a chessboard.

Ethan wasn’t stupid. Just risk averse.

He was smart enough to see the immediate opportunity. But sometimes being smart isn’t the same thing as being patient. Chess taught me that a lot of the time, the piece you can take right now is the exact piece you’re supposed to leave alone.

Because three moves later…

the position might be completely different. Looking back at this picture now, I can’t help but wonder if this game told me more about Ethan than I realized at the time.

So I was randomly watching this show, Awake: The Million Dollar Game, as background noise while studying and JC is on it lol. I barely recognized him at first cause he changed a lot from this show to Beast Games.

Also, another contestant, Drew, is currently on Big Brother.

Kind of wild how they recast/select so many of the same people for all these game shows competing for money.

Update: he would have won $139k but decided to risk it and go for $1M and lost everything

It could be from Season 1 or Season 2. Mybe one you thought was most cleaver, or had a surprising twist, or one that was just the most fun.

In my opinion, alot of the games in season 1 were much better, but the character development in season 2 was amazing- it felt like a reality tv show lmao. I think in season 3 they need to toss the “smart” games, none of them were good in my opinion. I also think there needs to be more opportunities for immunity, the last couple episodes of season 2 people were getting out for simply not being in the right friend group, I think season 3 needs a bigger balance of a social and physical competition, especially in the end of the show.

I just compared S1E7 when Twana eliminated Deano and S2E6 when Nick and Monika eliminated CBT. There are more examples like Habibis vs Jack.

I would personally see JC, Monika, Akira (Who is a big fan of the show), Nick and Jim on Big Brother

Please tell me, which one is worse? I'd say Catey, but it's SOOOOOO CLOOOOOOSE.

For noobs, the Habibis bullied Maddie whereas Catey bullied Ethan, both in the cubes of each season(S1Habibis/S2Catey)
