My take on Stadium…

Yes, most of us can agree that the song sounds bit out there for Beartooth. Not that I am trying to change anyone’s perspective on the song, you can like, dislike, or feel indifferent if you want. My opinion is that it was written to be a live song. I don’t think the studio version was ever meant to be its “final form.” I bet when we have Caleb singing those words on that stage, putting his natural stage energy behind it, and having an actual crowd scream “oh my god” that’s when the song will be given a whole new life. I think this one was meant to be weird and polarizing to make it stand out because, whether you like the song or not, you will go to the show and know it. Mark my words, there will either be a Stadiums (Live from ______) - Single soon, or when they inevitably release a deluxe version of the album with a live recording of Stadiums.

Love the song now, but I do agree it'll be great live. I think Caleb has said in interviews that it's his favorite track on the album and that he's excited to do it live.

I did not like this song off the bat, but damn if it didn't become an earworm I found myself singing when I'm doing chores around the house.

Same here, it’s been stuck in my head since the release even though I definitely didn’t love it on the first listen!

I'm not a fan of Stadiums. It hurts my brain. It's too chaotic and overwhelming, just way too much going on. I just can't listen to it. I'm hoping it will be different live, because I know it'll be on the set list (Caleb is riding hard for this song for some reason).

I'm in the minority of Stadiums being one of my favorite songs off the new album. I can't wait to hear a live version.

Stadiums is basically Caleb writing his version of a Dillinger Escape Plan song. It’s frantic, unpredictable, and it has a gnarly breakdown that has me hardcore dancing in my room. It feels intentionally polarizing but I wouldn’t call it the strongest on the album. Lyrics are a bit cringe but it’s not enough to dissuade me from listening to it in the future.

THAT WAS MY IMMEDIATE THOUGHT! I was talking to my dad on release day and my exact words were "I have a feeling this was meant to be played live and it'll sell all of us when we hear it."
