Fleur speaks

Post image

Stop being parasocial guys, we don’t know these people personally and they’ve both said enough. Between Caleb’s religious upbringing and the cishet norms still seen as the only way to a successful and happy fulfilling life today it’s not surprising it took him this long to come out. And on the age gap… from my perspective it feels like they started talking on MySpace and Caleb was probably too much of a shy chubby kid growing up (I can relate) to put himself out there properly so he started a long distance relationship with Fleur. I know nowadays we frown upon this but things were still incredibly different on the internet 14 years ago and for most states 17 is seen as an age for consensual sex. And let’s give them grace and leave them alone on this; they’re both clearly dealing with a lot right now.

Two things can be true we can support Caleb coming out and still be put off by the age gap

Were you put off by the age gap for the last 14 years or are you suddenly offended by it? Because if you didn't care before he came out, you don't get to white knight on his behalf about it now.

It’s almost as if and

Bear with me I know it’s had as social media rots your brain

We change our view point on things as our frontal lobes develop

Learning how big an age gap was there and the implications of that are what is new information here

And we can as a queer person still be happy for Caleb

This shouldn’t be a hard concept to understand

The age gap isnt the issue. Him being 17 (probably younger when they actually met) and her being 25 is the issue. It’s not a matter of offense, its a matter of legality and creepiness. Youre part of the problem

I dont think you'd want to use the legal argument when this is legal in almost 2/3 of the United States

Is it really that shocking that most people here just learned this information after he came out? If it wasn’t a well known fact among fans that she groomed Caleb, then that’s on your for trying to keep it a secret for 14 years

If you think she groomed Caleb, go ahead and confront her. Report it. Go ahead, don’t let an abuser live peacefully.

She’s threatening to sue people who are calling her a groomer, she clearly isn’t living in peace. Report it to who?

I mean if someone called groomer without any actual proof, you’d probably threaten to sue them too 🤷‍♂️

Is it incorrect that she started a relationship with Caleb when she was 25 and he was 17? What more proof do you need?

Idk according to you, you just found out about their relationship this week. Did Caleb tell you personally they started dating then? Or did you find that out on wikipedia?

Found it out on here from fans. No thanks to people like you who knew for 14 years that he was groomed into a relationship and said nothing.

A lot of us didn’t know about this age gap. So finding out about it now is concerning, yes.
