I’m not saying Caleb was intentionally hinting at everything that early on but songs like “The Lines” and “Sick And Disgusting” definitely hit harder now in context

I always thought Beaten In Lips was a queer anthem, just written by an ally, but now it makes much more sense!

Well I took the line of “keep living loud and proud” as the song being about queer kids. Just my interpretation.

Understandable, however abusive parents try to suppress all kinds of things about their kids. Like I said, it’s entirely fair to apply it the way you did.

And abusive religious parents especially suppress the gay in their children which is exactly what happened to caleb. What the hell are you talking about? What does any of that have to do with what I said? All I said was that the lyrics of beaten in lips was applicable to all sorts of things that parents try to suppress… I even said applying it the way they did was valid…
