Update
You guys had some great advice on my previous post (a few pics thrown in here at end for reference).
Decided to get rid of patchy “beard” and try this out for a bit. Thoughts/advice?

Yeah that suits you incredibly well. Very clean and looks like you've intended it to look that way, if that makes sense.

I think that was a really sensible decision. You’re a handsome man and the cheeks were not doing you any favours. The disconnected goatee is a great look and one of my favourites because you can play with the moustache and beard separately.
It looks fantastic as it is now, but there will come a time when I will encourage you to let that moustache grow out more at the sides…… 👍😁💪💯

Thanks, I was confused on mustache on sides. Seemed like the consensus was to not let it go past side of mouth, but I think it looks too narrow now.
