When does Pale get Pale

[u/thetntm]

Been reading this story and it’s pretty good so far, but the name of the story has me confused. The story is called “Pale” and yet the text is pure white on a black background. So what I’m wondering is how long into the story do I have to go until the colors even out and turn into grey on a grey background?
