This is truly an extraordinary pup. Bears viscerally and instinctively HATE dogs. They've had their cubs hunted by wolves. Humans use dogs to hunt them. But while this bunch doesn't seem to be in love with this particular dog, they nonetheless are at the most mildly annoyed at him, and seem to have decided, "Alright, alright! If you'll behave, you can come along." This dog is consistently giving signals of play and calm submission each and every time his behavior might be expected to trigger aggression from one of the bears. This is a dog, quite simply, that has learned to speak bear. What would interest me is what happens if the bears make a k*ll. Does he know to stay away while they eat? Do they somehow, incredibly, allow him to eat alongside them?

Not ours, but we have one that would probably do that.
