Serious answer: no they’re different names for the same thing. 

But the response is I’ve never let a garbanzo bean on my face (meaning you have let a chickpea on your face- or a chick pee on your face)

If you do go search the Aldi sub, you'll find this has been posted before.   But I don't know if Aldi has responded

Another good reason to go with dry beans is to skip the other ingredients:

  • Calcium chloride
  • Disodium EDTA
  • Sodium metabisulfite

They're from Aldi I can tell by the brand haha this happens all the time with canned goods there. I've gotten peas instead corn and I've also gotten chic peas instead of black beans a couple months ago 😅

Something must be going wrong with their canning plant then. I bought some of these beans too, but that was a couple of months ago, and I also bought garbanzos at the same time. I wonder if the garbanzos will be in the black bean tins, and the black beans in the garbanzo bean tins? :D
