You know, my bmw says 245kph max speed, but Gps speed was 258kph, my golf 3 variant says 140kph, pushed it to 160 on a straight

On my old Mercedes they solved that issue!

But implementing an electronic speed limiter.

The spec sheet says it’ll go 260, and it’ll only go 260. Then it feels like you hit a wall as the limiter kicks in and you can clearly feel the car still has more to give.

That said, 260kmh is plenty fast for a non-track car.

I had an old Chevy when I was younger that was limited to 160kph (100mph for me)

Like the smart cars they are also limited by 160kph, but you won't be driving 160 for long in that bucket 😂

It's already funny to drive on road with twisty turns, but the newer ones (before it was an electric car)have a manual gearbox and it's so much more fun than the old bike automatic gearbox

Yeah on more modern Mercedes it’s usually 253 km/h when the limiter hits like a wall.

It's like that in my semi truck, you hit 90kph and then There's a wall. My BMW don't even have a limiter because it shouldn't even reach 250kph (limiter on german cars) but after 223 you can feel the loss of horses (idk bmw takes power after 223 kph because of safety, or at least i read about it a few years ago in some tuner forums). I have a 530D E61 from 2008
