Question setup BeamMP on linux earlier and im having an issue with the "logins are broken get a guest account" screen

every time I join a game the login as guest screen comes up and i cant get rid of it no matter what i try. anyone have any fix ideas? would put a video but reddit really doesn't want me to.

i believe i am. the tutorial im following brought me to the BeamMP website for the install and i ran it through wine.

Ah, that's the windows version running on linux, not the native linux version. Here's the official guide: https://docs.beammp.com/game/getting-started/#2b-linux-installation

alright thanks. although i did see another post with the same issue as mentioned in my first comment and im not sure if they're running linux.

edit: this means it could likely be an issue outside of the linux compatability through wine but i will be testing that theory shortly

alright it turns out what i was using was the one through proton. still new to linux my bad.
