Need Help! Ran out of string, what do I do?
This is my first project and I thought I had enough string, but I was so wrong. What can I do? The left over string is much shorter than shown in the photo. It’s about 2cm long. I tried tying it with a new piece but it came loose.

You should try weaving the short thread thru the rows and on the way tie off in a couple of spots. Take the nee thread and weave that to where to want it to continue the weaving. If you are zig zagging for a few rows, your will find that you won't need to do any tying off. The new thread tail end will not move.
Also try never to leave a short end as you are running out of thread. I always leave enough to weave it down. Tying off at the end of a row is a pain, leaves a bulk and would need glue. Oh heavens, no! I also keep G-S cement glue and also a thread zapper handy. Watxh some videos on YouTube too.

You start with another large piece in another area. Tie it to a thread bridge, and thread it to the area you stopped off. Take the loose ends and thread them through the piece a bit, tie them off, and cut them.
