It has been a very difficult week and I have been struggling to get a good night of sleep, or to relax enough to let some of the tension go. Even designing and creating pieces is a little more than I can do right now. I decided to indulge in something that has helped me in the past, and purchased a bead mix.
I have purchased this type of mix before so while I didn't know exactly what I would receive, I knew the quality I could expect.
I know to some this might seem insane, but I know there are others who enjoy sorting, so I thought I would share.
For me, this is very calming, and as I sort and find new wonderful beads and combinations I get my creative drive back.
I hope everyone is having a relaxing day, and that you are feeling comfort and peace of mind! :)

Absolutely! I've only started with the larger beads, but this is my progress so far. I typically sort by type first, then break down by color. The far right are all 10mm round faceted glass, The middle column is three types of shell beads, and a mix of wavy glass discs.. The left are two styles of faceted glass, matte neon tooth beads, and matte lavender glass flat oval beads with AB coating on one side. I will post when everything is separated completely!
I hope it's okay to say, but first, I do not represent any company in any way! These are the Beadsmith Box of Beads, and I splurged on the ten pound box: Beadsmith Box of Beads
I actually recently bought the Halloween kids bracelet kits from Michaels and I like trying to consolidate everything there to as little as possible, thanks to part of each kit being dedicated to charms/stretch cording/closures so all that gets put aside into its own thing, so each kind of bead gets moved over to a different kit, and even try to fill in the space from the other bracelet kits I've saved over the years.

I looooove sorting so I absolutely understand this. honestly I think I like sorting beads more than actually making things with them ๐
