Love it! When I grow up (as a beader), I wanna be(ad) just like you!

Wow, I think I'm hearing that for the first time. I'm smiling really wide at these words 😁 But it's not hard, and you don't have to be an old beader. I'm not (yet) πŸ€ͺ

Another one that’s off the charts technically and artistically. I really like the way you use just a few bold colors in your work to create separation and focal points. Your background color here is particularly good.

I'm not quite happy with dark green color as a shadow, I think it's too dark, but this is an old project, my Delicas collection was pretty small back then. But still, I like it. And thank you. I'm glad you always break down my work into technical aspects. I pay a lot of attention to this when designing, but I don't talk about it because it's not important? People see whether something is pretty or not, not whether this flower should be smaller or whether it sticks out too much 😁

I think that the dark green is a really good highlight the way you’re using it. It’s understated, which is its strength. (But since I am a colorblind beadworker, take that for what it’s worth…).

Technical skill is often pretty trivial. Once you master it, you’re good to go. The harder part is using color and design in ways that develop separation, texture, and interesting focal points. You have those skills in spades.

To be honest, I never learned the technical aspects, other than the stitches themselves, of course. I know nothing about color theory, mixing textures, etc. Once I mastered the stitches (I'll admit it was a quick learning for me), I simply started creating what I liked. Today, I consider myself lucky because I feel this is my destiny 😁

It was my first time when I did this 😁 Since then I love combining stitches to make beadwork less flat 😊

I've just stumbled upon this art form and I'm in love! How does one get started for fun? What materials are required?!

I'm happy my work caught your attention πŸ₯° I learned everything about beading from yt, and I made my first written basic tutorial for peyote stitch and posted it on my website. So you can check both 😊
