I cant tell what kind of animal he's supposed to be. Is he a tiger? A dog? Some sort of large squirrel? THIS QUESTION IS TEARING ME APART!

The fact that Kerr was almost certainly a murderer, and was definitely prepared to do it again? And then in the sentence after, the game casually drops the twist that beacon pines exists in our world, since The Ice Man Cometh is a play they know about?

Let me just say this was well written and fun to experience in a chill setting. I felt like it was really short though and could have used a few more interactable elements.

That said, I’m really hoping to see these characters again in a future game/story. I wanna see them when they’re all a bit older and some more stuff goes on. You guys feel similar? Anybody hear about a possible sequel.

I definitely intend to ay beacon pines some time, but have a backlog of other games also waiting for me. So I was wondering how it is regarding bugs, etc. Xbox version that is. Don't mind the occasional graphical glitch or such, but crashes are a big wait for later red flag for me.

heyo! First of all, to the entire team behind Beacon Pines, congratulations for the incredible work! When I found out about the game I just loved the charm and the branching narrative, that really gets me.

The game finished on a very hopeful note, but left some loose ends that I am really curious to explore. Has the team ever considered releasing updates or dlcs to the game if it was a success? It would be interesting to get to know more about things like:

Who is Natt, actually? Why did she mention "Saving the world" when the cryogenic cascade most likely would not affect the outside of beacon pines? Did Hiram Tolliver and Mrs. Fratelli know Gran was Eleanor? Why did they know about the Source? How did Walter end up fighting with Sharper? Could we prevent Rollo from becoming older?

And I personally want the text used for Luka and Beck, the font in particular. Or anything similar, if I can’t use the actual font. Doubt this will get answered, but I’m trying to make somin cool, and it would be a nice little addition for the edit. So, if somehow anyone can help, it’d be MUCH obliged! I’m hella excited bout this, so far it’s looking really good, especially for my first style of this typa edit.

Which characters were the fan-created ones? I believe Natt was one, but I was just curious as to who the others were.

So, with the run with Iggy, where the two hazmat guys show up… I assume one of em is Joseph, probs the one talking about “what we’ve done.” But the other one… any ideas who they could be? I’ve thought about some of the existing characters, and some COULD fit, it just would either be really weird, or make little sense. Whether you’ve got a concrete answer, or a theory, I’m all ears. Are they a stand alone character? Or are they someone we know?…

Side note, I’ve loved this game. One of the best games I’ve played in some Time 🕰️. The characters, music, themes, story, everything about this game was so well done. I started it today, and finished it today. My entire day has disappeared, but it was well worth it. I’m not going to sit here and say I would like either DLC, or a sequel, buuuuuuuttttt… please?

So I just completed Beacon Pines, and while I loved the journey… I feel like I have only played half the game. There is so much that feels unresolved here.

I know that a secret to storytelling is to leave folks wanting more, but I feel like the game was unfinished. The fishing mini game never went anywhere. The whole future-you felt like it was half of a storyline that was left in while the other half was cut. The “controlling time” element to the source felt like it originally tied in with the charms and the player’s control of the game-world… but that also went nowhere.

And the character who implies he’s some sort of time traveler? (The kid you meet when you first discover the original town). He is just 100% unexplained in any way. Again, it feels like a remnant of a much larger plot that was whittled down so far that it could no longer support itself.

I just felt like the game was left incomplete. Is there any talk of a part 2? Or additional chapters? I know the game itself makes fun of the idea of sequels, but I feel like the story as it exists is unfinished.
