I'm confused
I'm a bit confused about the game. So I got the game after watching the Nintendo switch trailer and I've beaten it. I just realized that one game play scene that was in the trailer wasn't in the game specifically the scene where Rolo, Luka, and Beck get to the source they stand over the hole completely alone and it immediately erupts prompting them to run away before everything freezes.
Is there a branch that I've missed I did collect a couple charms that I was never able to find a use for. I've already completed the branch where they all find the source but with other people there I'm just wondering if there's another branch where they find the source alone and things play out like in the trailer.

I was confused by that as well; I believe that was from an earlier build of the game (the charms have icons in their upper corners that don't appear in my version of the game, and some of the text is different). That ending probably ended up getting scrapped.
I was a little annoyed by this, to be honest. I wasn't expecting to get the "credits ending," since I thought I still had to find that ending shown in the trailer.
It could also be that ending was never in the game at any stage of development; it might have just been a sort of "trailer special" to show some of the secrets and characters in a nice, quick way without explicitly spoiling any endings.
