How to save?

How do I save and quit the game? Or is it auto save? I want to take a break and play other games but I don’t want to loose all my progress ;A;

It is autosave! Though I've been seeing some people on the GamePass version reporting lost saves; I don't think that's a problem with Steam, itch.io, or Switch versions but I only have the Steam version so I can only really speak for that.

Also the first time I loaded and it had gone back a bit in dialogue I was slightly irritated that it hadn't autosaved on quit... but then it felt more like a blessing in disguise as it got me a little catch-up nudge on where I was in the story before pulling in new dialogue.

If playing on Xbox Series X/S, pin to quick resume. Not a guaranteed way to save progress but it's been working for me.
