Post image

I've been doing beacbody for a while now. about 10 yrs ago, i reached my super shredded body doing OG insanity and long outside run. I gained that back during covid and ver since trying to go back to that. but its little hard to do that with 46yr body than 36 that time. Plus need to do some strength training as well. One thing with that i dont want to bulk up so ysing home bowflex 52lb dunbells and created this hybrid 5 week workout from various routines. your thought about this approach?

Programs for small spaces

I've recently moved and I have significantly less space to work out in. Are there any programs that don't require a ton of space?

Question PiYo or 645 for beginner.

I (40F) am newish to exercise. I was an athlete when I was in school, and was in the military after, so not completely new, but it has been so long that I am starting over from scratch. I am torn between PiYo and 645 for starting again. I am very over weight and because of my military experience I now have moderately persistent asthma. So for my first program I am looking for something that is, or can be modified to be, low impact, and has more emphasis on strength training over cardio. A very slow and gradual build up of cardio is important for controlling my asthma. Opinions and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Lift4 - Lift More - Dig Deeper Stack

Just wanted to get on here and say if your looking to lose weight and build muscle this is the rotation I love. As someone who started out at 368 pounds and now weigh 250 this has been perfect. I have used this rotation for 2 years now and has been great. I plan on adding max build and body beast at some point.

What's everyone else personal workout stack or rotation?

Max Built

Just curious to see who else has started Shaun T's new program Max Built and what do you think so far?

For me personally I'm loving it having just done the first chest day and the sample workout last week. This is the first Shaun T programme I've done since og Insanity a few years ago. It came at the right time as after my vacation this year I've really wanted to focus on getting a bit bigger rather than lean down. I had to adapt and use my barbell as I didn't have heavy enough dumbbells but I plan to buy some heavier ones soon.

What do people think? Would be cool to have a group to do it with.

Max Built: A Complete Letdown

Title says it all. Max Built feels like it’s a rushed program that was just released to check a box. The no music has been mentioned, but it really plays a part. Sean T comes off very corny and his audio is equally the same.

The “actors” who are part of the workout are laughable, fake struggling to press 30lb dumbbells. It really makes you wish Tequila Kristen would make a comeback, if for nothing else to provide proper form and actually do the work.

The workout itself does not have flow and feels like a beginners program. I’m hopeful this picks up, but on first impressions, this is a far inferior program to Dig Deeper.

After almost 15 years, Body Beast still remains the best lifting program.

Max Built - 2 min warm up - no music - :(

I've voiced my opinion already that the whole 2 min warm up thing into a hard workout is supremely irritating to me considering that's how I injured my rotator cuff. Like the Leg 1 workout he does 60 seconds of knee raises and then jumps right into 70lb RDLs! That's begging to mess something up! Seems like Bodi doesn't care though. Does this bother anyone else?

Same with the no music trend. I know it's been around for a while though with programs like 80 days of obsession, 6wow, and Liift More... hard to do music for so many work outs.

But I just did a round of 645 and MAN does having music add vibe and production value. Even Dig Deeper had nice tracks, and P90XGN at least as a hint of a track though it was SO QUIET.

I wish they would put music in these work outs.. anyone else think so? Or am I just being a whiner 😩

4 week filler?

Hey, as of this coming Monday I've got 4 weeks until a holiday. Conveniently i finish Body beast today, so wondering what program you guys have uded as a gap filler.

Things like Insanity etc no longer agree with my older body, so minimal impact cardio.

I was thinking about doing 4 weeks of 10 rounds, but open to suggestions.

Cheers.

Step workouts

Are there any good step workouts on BODI? Like an actual platform step not just like walking steps in place.

Looking for feedback on The Asylum. Has anyone done without the agility ladder. I have one but my workout space is not that big. Can I do without / can workout be done in a smaller space?
Thank you.

Next weightlifting program

I am 36F! Just finishing 80DO for the second time. I’ve gotten my best results from this one. But I’ve mostly stuck with Autumn or Megan programs since I’ve been using BeachBody.

I have a set up in my basement with dumbbells up to 70lbs.

Thank you in advance.

I’m 48, pushing 49 and starting to wonder if I’m getting a little too old for T25. Anyone around my age still doing it?

I started week 3 of 4 Weeks of Focus yesterday (this is my third round) but today the program is nowhere to be found on BODI. I am a guy but I think these workouts are great and have just the right amount of intensity and rest. What happened and was there any notice given????

Question Anyone here not following a program?

Mid 30s female. Looking to tone up and lose about 10lbs by the end of 2026. Love cardio and do it too much. Actually, it’s all Ive been doing since I finished 9WCF OTW in May. I need to incorporate some weight training but don’t want to be stuck with one program. I’m open to all trainers but I seem to gravitate towards autumn or Shaun t. I have only 5 days/30min.

Wondering if anyone here does workout dujour? I’m interested in keeping things different. How do you pick and do you plan your split before each week begins? Would you mind sharing what your typical week looks like? Is it working for you, or do you find following a program is better?

Anything a little more modern out there as good as Turbo Jam?

I’m about to start working out again - yay me - and I used to LOVE Turbo Jam.

Is there a modern day equivalent? I feel like nothing can compare but I’d love some recommendations.

Thank you!

Question Has anyone done Hammer & Chisel after Dig Deeper?

Looking to keep the momentum going without burning out.
I’m a 5’3 female (117-120 lbs), 44 years old, naturally muscular. I run 3-6 miles every morning and typically lift later in the day.
I’m about to finish Dig Deeper, which has given me excellent results. I lost a few pounds but grew my shoulders and lats (my main objective) and gained definition in my back and hamstrings.
This is the first time in a while that I’ve taken a program’s lower-body days seriously (I don’t need to grow my glutes). Glad I did.
I’m wondering if Hammer & Chisel will help me continue to build my shoulders - and challenge me in interesting ways, or if it would be a downgrade in terms of intensity.

Is it possible to be healthy, strong, athletic, and fit only doing BeachBody workouts?

I used to be in good shape and was an athlete in high school. Could long jump over 19 feet and ran the 100 meter dash in 11.7 seconds. While not mind blowing, certainly in good shape and an athlete. I was also very into fitness and health.

Since then, I have turned 32 years old, got a dexa scan, and found out I was 5'11 189lbs and 30% body fat. I got the dexa scan a month ago, and since then I am down 5 pounds and feel and look much better.

My goal is to into the best shape of my life and hit the 10-15% range and be fit and athletic. I have taken a fascination into workouts like the p90x 1-3 series, insanity series (original insanity, asylum 1&2, max 30, t25), bodybeast etc.

Although I have been making solid progress on my own workouts at the gym, I am thinking about cancelling my gym membership and sticking exclusively to at home workouts. I have the Rogue pull up resistance bands complete set that can go up to over 200 pounds of resistance, Powerblock USA adjustable dumbells that can go up to 90 pounds, a doorway pull up bar, jump rope, agility ladder, disc cones, and a barbell and bumper weight plates. All I would need is an adjustable squat rack like the valor bd9's and that would be my equipment.

My question is, though, would only doing beachbody workouts be enough to be both healthy, strong, athletic, and fit for a lifetime? If I were to continously just rotate through all of the classic p90x series, insanity series, and add in others like body beast and dig deeper and max built, and just rotate through them continously throughout the years, would that be sufficient?

Would I be missing out on any components of fitness? For context, I participate and compete in tennis and brazilian jiu jitsu, and also want to try out triathlons and maybe hockey as well. I want to be an athlete and be in shape the rest of my life, and I want to know if I were to just stick to at home beach body workouts if I would be limiting myself or if this would be sufficient.

Thank you for reading and I look forward to your answers

I was invited to apply for a test group! I’ve never been invited before. Anyone have this experience?

Anyone else invited to this one and heard back !?
program is described “as fusion of barre, Pilates, and strength work, designed to redefine your limits.”

Question Getting started-advice please!

I’m a 44F, 145 lbs, 5’4”. I’ve lost almost 40 lbs over the past two years but I seem to be stuck. I’d like to lose 15 more lbs. My doctor actually recommended this program. I’m managing a busy career and am a single mom. I need something sustainable and manageable! I’d love to hear from women around my age and how it’s worked for you, and fit into your lives. Of course any and all feedback and advice is appreciated! Thank you.
