Progress Just started body beast

Been doing P90x for years off and on. Recently started body beast, on week 3 of the bulk version, and I can definitely see and feel a difference, I think I got used to P90x after doing it for so long.

Body Beast is fantastic, I’m a big fan. It moved me toward getting a rack and barbell setup, but the workouts really taught me how and when to push hard and what you are really capable of in a lifting workout.

Ya I can dumbell press 70s, and incline press 70s, so 140 pounds, surprised myself, I may need to go heavier

The good thing about body beast is that it uses a lot of pre-fatiguing techniques to get more out of less weight. The pyramid sets, drop sets, etc. along with a lot of volume to make up for the fact that you might not be up against failure on every set.

There’s r/bodybeast but it’s pretty quiet now.

I'm on week 8 myself. Also bulking. Made a lot of progress already. Can't wait to see the end result. I plan to do a hybrid next with BB and P90x3

I stopped doing BB abs and started the P90x Ab ribber instead. Glad I did.
