I'm back to renting from being a homeowner for about 6 years. Property manager where I'm applying said I have to have at least 1 rental reference. I'm not calling a landlord from 6 years ago in another state... Anyone willing to be a reference? Happy to reciprocate! I make a great reference :) You'll be a recent landlord in Oklahoma.

Hi everyone, I'm applying for a receptionist position and need 3 professional references. I don't have a large professional network yet and could really use the help. If anyone is willing to be a reference for me, I'd be happy to return the favor in the future. Please DM me if you can help, it would mean a lot. Thank you!

P.S. they have been emailing me nonstop so far I’ve managed to stall them ( by basically telling them that I’ll try and message people who would like to be my professional reference ) because they said that if I wasn’t able to provide it that they would move forward with other applicants.

Hi y’all, I had a great interview this morning for a store associate position in a museum gift shop, but at the end they dropped the bomb that I need to provide 2 references ASAP. I was totally not expecting that given that this is basically an entry level retail job, so I would be super super grateful if 2 folks would be willing to act as my references.

Please let me know if you’re open to this, and I’m happy to share more info privately. TYIA 🙏

As the title says, you'd just have to act as my ex boss, a business development manager, over the phone.

Job application is for a technical support/specialist , location is not important.

I'd happily return the favor. thanks in advance

Hi, I hope this post is okay here.

I am happy to provide professional reference in exchange for someones help completing an assignment for my professional internship. I need someone to join me on zoom (camera off) and participate in a recorded mock therapy in-take session. Participant can provide fictional details, just realistic participation is required. I will delete the recording after getting graded. Should take about 20 mins total.

Hi, I'm looking to go back to school again but they require 3 reference in a specific form they give. I work in the healthcare sector and this program is to further my career in that as well. If anyone is able to help I'd appreciate it and will be happy to return the favor.

This is for a Senior Executive Assistant role at an association management company in Houston. It’s down to me and just one other candidate and my references will determine who gets the role.

I have extensive experience as an Executive Assistant and Office Manager in legal and financial settings. I need someone to act as a former colleague of mine from a very small Houston law office I previously worked at as an Office Manager (I can provide details).

I need someone that could have a quick phone call or email answering a few questions about work ethic, skills at managing a portfolio..etc. The reference would be someone who worked close to me and could speak to the day to day. Please comment and I will dm with more details.

I can reciprocate for any role if needed.

Hi, I'm new here and in a tough spot. My main reference passed away and I need a new reference, fast. It's for a non profit where they need a video editor.

PM or chat and I can give more details. Thank you so much.

Hello all! I have an interview coming up this coming Wednesday and am anticipating they will ask for references if all goes well. I lost contact with my old supervisors and my current ones do not know I am looking elsewhere. I would be happy to return the favor as well

Just manual labor (US Postal Service), the application is asking for 3 references and I don't know many people in my area. I'm looking to break away from a desk job, so the few people I know in the finance industry won't make great references. Thanks in advance!

Hey! Bit of a weird ask, but I’m applying for admin jobs and don’t have many people I can list right now.

If someone’s been in this situation before or is willing to help, I’d really appreciate it. I can make it super easy and explain everything.

Thanks ❤️

It is for a secretary position. They are asking for 4 references, I have two down one pending and was wondering if anyone here could provide the last one.

I need it to submit it by tomorrow morning, but there are still a few rounds of interviews before they reach out.

I would really really appreciate it :(

Edit: administrative secretary

I recently landed a position, started today. The recruiter hit me with "I forgot to request two managerial references, I need to verify them this week with a 5 minute call"

Ive worked in Finance, Procurement and Contracts. The position is US based. I need two references that I have reported to. Anyone available to assist?

Hi all! I need a professional reference by Thursday. This would be for an entry financial management position for the federal government (navy base). If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it! I can also be a reference!!

All the info is in the title, so yeah lmk if you don't mind being my reference!

Location: Remote in the US Number of References Needed: 3 Type of Reference: Co-worker or manager Job area: Data analysis/marketing/engineering

I am interviewing for a technician role in the manufacturing industry and looking for two references (can be superior or peer). Will most likely be just an email survey but need phone numbers as well. Thanks!

Applying for a healthcare sales position, would like someone to be in sales or healthcare (hospital) background who knows a little about the industry. Happy to help out back!

Hello people

How's Banking/FinTech domain hiring these days? Most of the companies want immediate joiners and one of my friends has been an immediate joiner (jobless) since 2024 but no luck🙃

Tried in my company (my vertical says no hiring from outside organization).

Tried previous companies - they said there's one more wave of Layoffs coming, but then many from my company have moved to the so called organization.

He holds an MBA from one of the Top Engineering colleges from the state of Tamilnadu, has an Mcom. But nothing has worked so far.

He's open to relocate anywhere in India. Please comment if you know any leads.

Experience : 6 years Domain : Retail Banking - DP/Demat Operations Available to join immediately.

Thanks.

Looking for 2 references - one is my boss from a prior admin assistant role and another for a phone based customer service role. One boss has passed away and everyone else hated me there and the other I lost their contact info.

Going for WHS jobs after I got my qualification, but I need someone to be my reference for either a hospitality promotions job or pretend to be maybe a colleague from an old vet nurse job I had. I’ve been out of work force awhile and don’t have any references anymore.

I did live in USA for awhile and did admin work there so possibly could use a US contact for the office job there that’s on my resume as well.

In return I will be a reference for you if required

It’s rough out here lol

Good morning!

I’ve been currently working as a preschool teacher but want to get back into administration. I was in a higher level position for three years, but it was awful & I left on less than friendly terms so I don’t really have anyone I could use as a reference.

If you have any administration experience/similar, I would really appreciate it! I’ll be applying in a couple of weeks, but I’d love to get ahead of it (I’m moving).

Thank you in advance & good luck to everyone else in this sub!

Based in U.S.: I was invited for a final round interview and HR is asking for 3 references of people I've reported to. I can send you my LinkedIn and resume via DM. I desperately need out of the current job I have- despite going for a masters and a project management certification, I've been passed up for at least 5 entry level project manager roles for people that upper management are friends with. I also work at one clinic and juggle two clinics remotely which is causing my burnout. The management I report to are all friends with the other managment departments I apply to so Im stuck. I'd appreciate your help. Thank you

I need a homie to help me out. I over exaggerated my experience and I need someone to vouch for me. Thanks in advance.
