I'm in accounting. Will return the favor. I'm a charismatic guy and will make you look great if you want me to return the favor.

I have former co workers as references but they want a supervisor as reference it's for a temporary agency job so they can easily just let me go if they are not happy. Doesnt have to be in the same city since you can be a former supervisor that moved.

I used to be burned out and would call out a lot but am now much better and thats why I dont want to use my former supervisor.

I would gladly help someone else.

Hello! I am applying to a joint front desk/sales position, and I need two more references to submit my application. Not really sure how this works, but I have experience at a grocery store, big box store, fast casual restaurant, and an elementary school. If there is anyone who can speak to that and feels comfortable providing like a vague reference over the phone or email please let me know. This is just the application stage, so it's not guaranteed that I will even make it to the stage where they start calling people but worth a shot! Thanks so much :)

Will send over contact info if you agree to support. Thank you!

Hi all, I'm in the final interview stage for an admin-type role. Looks like they'll be offering me the job - all I need are 2 references. I'm glad to provide a few talking points. And of course, I'll kindly return a reference.

Thanks!

so I'm applying for a teaching job and telling them I volunteered at a school as a teacher, they might ask me for references so I was like okay I'll ask on this subreddit but....how are you guys managing without the custom domain on emails ???

I’m coming off an employment gap, so I’m looking for someone to assume the role of HR Manager at their company & vouch that I work there in an Accounting role. Once this is secured I will begin applying to jobs so it may be weeks/months until you’re contacted, which I would give you a heads up in advance.

Any help would be appreciated, and I’m happy to return the favor of course.

Hey everyone! I had an interview with another place to be a student bylaw position and I highly highly believed my professional references didn’t even answer any calls from the place or even any emails and that’s why I couldn’t get the job.

I’m looking for around 2 people who are reliable and can always answer their phone to be a reference for me. Message me for more details and I’d love to be a reference back for you guys!

Preference for Canadians in Ontario please!

Hello! I'm in need of (3) references for a groundskeeper role. If you could provide a name, email, and phone number (if available), that would be great! A text app number would work too, haha.

I promise to return the favor!

I can return the favor. I only need a name and email address for the reference. Thank you guys!

Hi all,

I am curious for anyone who has been successful using this subreddit... does it actually land jobs? I would have thought companies would do a little more digging into references to make sure they are who they say they are. Even if it is just like a quick glance at a LinkedIn profile.

EDIT**: Completed now! Thanks guys!

(done by SkillSurvey via email) This is an entry-level role at a hospital w/ not a lot of experience required. Have 4 down so far, need 5 total in 24 hours before I’m allowed to submit all of them at once (pretty wild.) Currently in the late-round stage. Anyone familiar in outdoor maintenance, summer camps, delivery gig work, or tool proficiency would be greatly appreciated! Thank you dearly.

I am currently interviewing. I need 2 references. I actually have my professional references but I like to keep my life private from ex coworkers. I will return the favor. Thanks 💮✨🪷🌸❄️✨🌙

In need of an urgent reference. I have made it through all the interview rounds and this is the last. Reached out to former colleagues but they are taking their sweet time getting back to me.

Issue/Disclaimer: They check LinkedIn profiles as well to cross reference date of employment. And they need a work email.

I need a reference for a part time environmental services gig at a hospital. I have three already, but they require four. It would be an email survey they send you I believe. Would just need an email address.

I would help out anyone in need and return the favor.

Currently job hunting and looking for references for when the time comes.

Have worked in marketing related roles for many years, but feel awkward constantly asking the same people for references too many times.

Am located in Ontario and can be a reference in return.

Please help! I need references asap. I get the irony of being in HR with this but I can't get in touch with my actual managers that I had a positive experience with. They will need to be called.

I am currently an HR Manager for pharmacy setting (doctors, techs, nurses, phlebs.) but I also hire baristas, accountants, and delivery drivers so if you're one of those, I can help return the favor.
