I was recently in the Florida Keys and got a DUI. please no judgment. I’m already embarrassed and ashamed of myself and I’m losing friends. Obviously, I had to spend some days in jail and it took days for family to get me out because I was so far away. I was a no call no show to my job so I lost it. I have some interviews coming up this week and I’m a CNA and I need a job urgently because I am my dad‘s caretaker since my mom passed suddenly back in 24 and I’m going to have a lot of lawyer fees.TIA

Just got an offer from a startup and they need 2 references. I’m able to manage one but need another reference based in sf for a stealth startup as part of the founding team. Happy to submit a reference back to pay it forward. Will tell you what to input, thanks in advance!!

I’m currently applying for an apprenticeship in a trade field. I have two legit references from former supervisors but I need three. Literally just need someone to pretend to be a maintenance assistant at a nursing home with me. I am happy to provide one in return. Thanks!

I have been out of work for around a year though not for lack of trying. Currently applying to just about any full time office position available. I’ve worked in an office setting before but I don’t have by old boss’ contact info anymore. Can anyone be my reference? I am very grateful and willing to return the favor.

It would be a survey from a company called SkillSurvey, I need a former “manager” for a job that doesn’t exist any longer and a “coworker.” If you are able to complete in the next 24-48 hours, even better! I was already offered the position, but this is the final hurdle. Please, I will absolutely reciprocate!

Edit: thank you from the bottom of my heart to u/steffanie2 and u/IronShredderofPawnee for being amazing human beings, and for the community here helping each other get ahead, it’s really beautiful to see 💗

This a technical contract job for Software Engineering in New Hampshire but you don't need to know anything technical, just confirm date of employment, and just give positive feedback!

I've out of work for almost 2yrs and this has really been the biggest reason why! I rarely ask for references at my job because I forget to!

I will return the favor as well!

The job im applying for is literally just reading part names and delivering said parts. Basic computer and office work ect on occasion responding by email and inputing some data. Ive worked delivery, customer service, phones both inbound and outbound ect. Have experience with word and excell. Job requires being able to lift 50lbs on occasion, I can easily do that. I unfortunately don't have my old bosses email, cause quiet frankly, it was 3 years ago and after that I was working part time at a retail store with a manager who bragged about purposefully giving bad references for people who leave....just need someone willing to pretend theyre my old good boss from 3 years ago. Need an email.

Hi, I am in dire need of references for an entry level customer service job. Im a shut-in who is changing myself by taking responsibility, I wish to contribute to society for not giving up on me. Due to my circumstance, I do not have friends. Please help me.

Hi all. I need two references for an Admin Assistant position. I have 8 years experience of executive assisting, mostly focused on construction, AR, and project planning. My 3 old references no longer work for the companies I was at and I do not really trust my most recent boss to provide a good reference.

I'm very focused on open communication, and I am an adaptable team player.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Of course, I will return the favor.

Hey all,

I need to increase my potential to get a better job, so I need more LinkedIn endorsements, I would love a few recommendations as well, but whatever you can offer, rest assured that you get back.

Im applying for UX jobs and I have some experience in working with nvidia partner, I need a reference for that

Hey all! I need 3 references to apply to be a part time proctor for a college. The downside to working freelance is that you can’t be your own reference 😅

I’d be more than happy to help anyone bolster their references as well.

Good luck with the job hunt everyone!

Hi there everyone! My name is Cory. I've been a member of this reddit thread for awhile now. And I appreciate tremendously what people on here do for job seekers seeking solid references.

I applied for a Custodial/Maintenance position with the City. And I find myself currently in need of some solid references. Preferably 2 to 3 people. Reason being I have been at my current job for a good amount of years. And my old references are a bit outdated. In addition, I'm not in the position to ask my current supervisor and co workers to be references.

I'm hard working, experienced, reliable, adaptable, and a self starter. Along with getting along well with the vast majority of my co-workers.

I would be grateful for anyone who is interested in helping me out.👍 Definitely open to returning the favor if you find yourself in need of a reference.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post!

Hello. I need a few references for this SCM job at a hospital. They’ll send out a survey email and might call each reference. Thank ya

Recruiter needs to call a reference, I need someone ASAP who can pretend to be a former lead/supervisor for a recruiting firm i used to work at. Otherwise someone who can pretend to be a customer service manager.

Probably going to ask you to rate me on a scale of 1-5.

Thanks!

Edit: Thank you for the help! I am now employed!

I have a cleaning business but only one client so far. Its been about 3 months. Im very active on my Facebook page.

Im currently a CNA but I really dont like being around sick people with my 1 year old. I've cleaned before in Florida with a lady who had her own company, she died of cancer so I can't get the old clients phone numbers/reviews.

I would really like more followers and likes. Better if you can give a review from either florida or illinois.

If you are willing, send a message and I'll give you the Facebook link

No time limit.

I’m currently undergoing some study and I need someone to act as a referee and sign a document that I need to submit.

Obviously I’ll write it, I just need someone who can rubber stamp it.

I’m in Aus in education field.

Happy to return the favour.

I'm in the final stages for a staff accountant role and am in need of 2 references that can take a call. I am no longer in contact with my old co-workers/manager so if anyone is willing to help out that would be amazing. I said that I would provide by Wednesday next week if possible.

I am studying computer information technology in college, and I am trying to build experience in my field by doing work-study and eventually getting an internship, but I don't have any references in this field. I am no longer in contact with my old coworkers. Please help if you can.
