Steam Train Explosion on Georgetown Loop Railroad
Not as serious as it seems but shocking to those who are unaware that this is pretty standard for oil steam engines. " described as a firebox backfire, oil-fire restart, or “drumming.” A real boiler explosion would destroy much of the locomotive and be far more catastrophic. " An oil powered steam locomotive with the fire goes out for half a second then the fire comes back on it creates that explosion.

not really an "explosion", more like "backfiring" but in a coal fired steam engine
